In the excellent trading classic, The New Market Wizards written by Jack Schwagger, Stanley Druckenmiller is interviewed. Stanley mentions that he traded with George Soros, in fact, it was Stanley and Soros who were famously credited with breaking the Bank of England, but that is another story.
Druckenmiller credits Soros for teaching him to “go for the jugular.” Druckenmiller also mentions that Soros taught him that it “takes courage to be a pig.” But what does this mean? What does a forex pig do? Druckenmiller learned that it is important to really pile it on when you are right.
After all, we forex traders make money when we take a winning trade, right? So why not make sure that our winning trades are weighted more heavily than our losing trades. I wrote an article about this concept, if you would like to read more, feel free to read the article at Trading Markets here
